The luxurious Aquatica Purescape tub line, made of sanitary grade acrylic, is setting new standards of convenience and design.

Acrylic bathtubs are stamped from very large sheets of acrylic. To help ensure durability, the stamped acrylic is then strengthened with fiberglass backing.

Acrylic tubs are lightweight, generally are less expensive than bathtubs constructed of other materials like synthetic resin and required very little maintenance. Also, acrylic tubs can be repaired very easily, should scratches, cracks or dents occur.

Acrylic bathtubs are colorfast and the color is never painted onto the surface of the tub. The tubs are constructed of colored acrylic sheets, therefore the color is fast throughout which eliminates the possibility of color fading over time.

The finish of acrylic bathtubs is also protected against damage from most household cleaners and chemicals. However, there are some chemicals that will damage the surface such as acetones, and paint removers or thinners. A simple household cleaner will do the job of removing tough stains from an acrylic bathtub when running water will not do the trick.
